PORTLAND, Ore. (November 15, 2024) – Tonkon Torp associate Eric Levine has joined the Board of Trustees for Oregon Parks Forever. Oregon Parks Forever raises funds and builds partnerships to restore and create new facilities and sites in the Oregon state, county, and local park and forest system.
“It’s an honor to serve on the Oregon Parks Forever Board of Trustees,” commented Levine. “The organization does good work to restore parks affected by wildfires, drought, heat domes, and insects through its Climate Resiliency Fund. It increases accessibility of parks through initiatives like Track Chairs and Ticket2Ride, and so much more. I am proud to continue Tonkon Torp’s connection with this outstanding organization.”
Tonkon Torp has supported Oregon Parks Forever from its establishment in 1995, when founding partner Brian Booth played a key role in creating what was then the Oregon State Parks Trust, and later the Oregon State Parks Foundation. Levine is the tenth Tonkon Torp lawyer to serve on the organization’s Board of Trustees. Learn more about current Oregon Parks Forever initiatives here.

He has authored briefs filed in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and the D.C. Court of Appeals; and he has contributed to amicus briefs filed with the Supreme Court of the United States. He joined the firm from the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia, where he was a Charles F.C. Ruff Fellow in the Office of the Solicitor General.
