Paul Balmer Joins Portland Workforce Alliance Board of Directors

PORTLAND, Ore. (August 22, 2024) – Tonkon Torp litigation associate Paul Balmer has been elected to the Portland Workforce Alliance (PWA) Board of Directors. The PWA is an independent nonprofit that works with local employers to educate students about career opportunities, boost Oregon graduation rates, and build a resilient, prosperous, and well-educated workforce.

“Portland Workforce Alliance does a lot of great work and I am excited to take on a hands-on role in support of their mission,” shared Balmer. “Bridging the gap between education and career opportunities is essential to Oregon’s future and the vitality of the Portland region. Inspiring and supporting students and the next generation is important work. I’m proud to be a part of PWA’s efforts towards that goal.”

Balmer is an associate in Tonkon Torp’s Litigation Department and represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of complex civil matters, from residential real estate disputes to eight-figure trade secret claims and civil rights litigation. Paul has experience in state and federal court and has resolved numerous cases through arbitration and mediation.
