Pullman & Comley Welcomes Sandra D. Dawson to Government Finance Practice

HARTFORD, CT., February 28, 2019: Pullman & Comley, LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Sandra D. Dawson to the firm’s Government Finance practice. Ms. Dawson has an established reputation in the practice of bond law and will serve clients throughout the State of Connecticut. She is based in the firm’s Hartford office.

Ms. Dawson, a member of the firm, represents municipalities, state agencies, special taxing and special service districts, underwriters, banks, trustees, and liquidity providers in tax-exempt and taxable bond financing transactions. She serves and has served as bond counsel to several municipalities and as bond and tax counsel to the State of Connecticut in connection with its transportation infrastructure financing program. She represents issuers of general obligation bonds, revenue bonds, tax credit bonds, lease purchase financings, lease/lease-back transactions, commercial paper, tax-increment obligations and conduit financings under various programs.

“Sandy is well-known in the Northeast and throughout the state for her vast knowledge of public finance law and her bond counsel work on complex bond financing transactions,” stated John F. Ms. Dawson is an active participant in numerous professional organizations, including the Connecticut Association of Municipal Attorneys, the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Government Finance Officers Association, and the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations. She was recently elected by her peers as a Fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel for her skill, experience, and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.

Ms. Dawson earned her B.S., magna cum laude, in Chemical Engineering from the University of Lowell. She received her J.D., with a Certificate in Taxation, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
