Virginia Lawyers Weekly Recognizes Cynthia E. Hudson as a Leader in the Law

RICHMOND, Va. (October 20, 2021) — Cynthia E. Hudson of Sands Anderson PC has been selected by Virginia Lawyers Weekly for inclusion in its 2021 “Leaders in the Law” class. The honorees were recognized on Tuesday, October 19 at The John Marshall in Richmond.
Cynthia is a management side employment attorney whose work in both the public and private sectors has advanced the quality of life for people across the Commonwealth. She focuses on supporting state and local governments in their efforts as policymakers to meet the needs of their communities. Clients rely on Cynthia’s complete grasp of the innerworkings of state and local government, along with her deep legal understanding of myriad issues including collective bargaining, dispute resolution, employment law, public policy development, governance, and government affairs.
Cynthia is currently the Chair of the Governor’s Commission to Examine Racial Inequity in Virginia Law. She also serves on the William & Mary Board of Visitors and on the Board of the Virginia Law Foundation. Cynthia received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and her law degree from the William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
The Leaders in the Law awards program recognizes lawyers across the commonwealth who are setting the standard for other Virginia lawyers. “Leaders” are recognized for changing the law, serving the community, changing practice or improving Virginia’s justice system, among other accomplishments.
